- Declarer enters dummy with a club and trumps a diamond return.
- She/he leads a second club and trumps the third round of diamonds.
- Declarer now cashes the Ace and King of hearts and trumps a small heart in dummy.
- The third round of Clubs is played and then dummy’s last club is played, declarer trumps the good club and with the King of trumps forcing West to under-ruff.
- Declarer plays her/his last heart and dummy’ bare Jack of Spades, which sits over West’s Q and 10, must make the twelfth trick.
