E- Declarer plays Ace, King of diamonds, Ace, King of spades and then three rounds of trumps ending in his own hand.
- Declarer now plays the queen of diamond, winning the trick with dummy’s last trump.
- A small spade is then ruffed by declarer producing this end position:-
- The trump lead now squeezes West so that declarer comes to the last three ticks when East has to lead a club.
