Solution
- This is a fairly common bridge playing situation – a ‘dummy reversal’.
- Declarer trumps three clubs so that the outstanding trumps are drawn by dummy, declarer thus making six tricks, five diamonds and the Ace of hearts.
- To avoid any chance of being overtrumped declarer should trump the three clubs with the A, J and 9 of trumps, thus entering dummy with a small trump lead.
