♣ 4 3 2 - Declarer now plays five rounds of trumps discarding three small Clubs from dummy.
- East is squeezed on the fifth Diamond; if he discards a Spade declarer enters dummy with the Club Ace and trumps the 5 of Spades and the 6 of spades becomes the 13th trick.
- If West discards a Club, the Ace and King of Clubs are played and declarer trumps a Spade and the 4 of Clubs becomes the 13th trick.
